Client & Family FAQ
What is WholeWell RN?
WholeWell RN is a trusted platform that helps individuals and families discover independent nurse professionals and nurse-owned businesses offering a variety of wellness, education, advocacy, and support services. We also empower nurses to grow their own businesses and connect with the communities they serve.
Does WholeWell RN provide medical care?
No. WholeWell RN is not a hospital, home health agency, medical practice, telehealth provider, or emergency service. We provide a platform where you can find and connect with independent nurses. Any services you receive are provided directly by the nurse or nurse-owned business you choose.
Are the nurses verified?
WholeWell RN is committed to promoting trust and professionalism. We may verify information such as identity and nursing licensure before granting a verification badge or listing approval. However, verification does not guarantee quality of care, future performance, or outcomes. We encourage clients to ask questions and choose the professional who best fits their needs.
What kinds of services can I find?
Services vary by nurse and may include:
Senior wellness support
Care navigation and healthcare advocacy
Wellness coaching
Health education
Care transition support after hospitalization
Holistic wellness services
Chronic condition support
Community health outreach
Nurse consulting
Other legally permitted nurse-led services
Availability depends on each nurse’s qualifications, experience, and scope of practice.
Is this the same as hiring a home health agency?
No. WholeWell RN is a directory and connection platform. Nurses listed on the site are independent professionals or business owners and are not employees or agents of WholeWell RN.
Can nurses diagnose illnesses or prescribe medication?
Only if they are legally authorized to do so under applicable laws and regulations. Each nurse must practice within their own education, licensure, certifications, and legal scope of practice.
How do I contact a nurse?
You can contact a nurse directly through the information or contact methods provided on their profile. The nurse will communicate with you regarding availability, services, pricing, and scheduling.
How much do services cost?
Each nurse sets their own fees, policies, and business terms. Pricing may vary depending on the type of service, location, experience, and duration of care. Be sure to discuss costs directly with the nurse before booking.
Does WholeWell RN accept insurance?
WholeWell RN does not bill insurance or process insurance claims. Individual nurses may or may not accept insurance or offer reimbursement documentation, depending on their business model and applicable regulations.
Is payment made through WholeWell RN?
Unless specifically stated otherwise, payments for services are arranged directly between you and the independent nurse or nurse-owned business.
How do I know which nurse is right for me?
Review each profile carefully, including services offered, qualifications, specialties, and experience. Consider reaching out with questions to ensure the nurse is a good fit for your goals and expectations.
Can I leave a review?
Yes. Honest and respectful feedback helps maintain a trustworthy community and assists other families in making informed decisions. Reviews that are false, abusive, or violate platform policies may be removed.
What if I have a problem with a nurse?
If you have concerns about a listed professional, you should first communicate directly with the nurse when appropriate. You may also report concerns to WholeWell RN for review. Depending on the nature of the issue, the platform may investigate and take action regarding the profile, but WholeWell RN is not responsible for the independent services provided by nurses.
Will my personal information be kept private?
WholeWell RN is committed to protecting user information and maintaining appropriate privacy practices. However, once you engage directly with an independent nurse, that nurse is responsible for safeguarding any personal or health information you choose to share in accordance with applicable laws and professional obligations.
Is my information shared with other nurses?
No. Your information is not shared with unrelated providers without your permission, except as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.
Can WholeWell RN guarantee results or outcomes?
No. Every individual and situation is different. WholeWell RN cannot guarantee specific health outcomes, business practices, availability, or satisfaction with services provided by independent professionals.
Is WholeWell RN for emergencies?
No. Do not use WholeWell RN for medical emergencies. If you or someone else is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately or go to the nearest emergency department.
Why choose a nurse through WholeWell RN?
Nurses bring a unique combination of clinical knowledge, patient education, advocacy, compassion, and real-world healthcare experience. WholeWell RN was created to make it easier for families to connect with trusted nurse professionals while supporting nurses who are building independent, purpose-driven businesses.
Can a nurse help me coordinate my healthcare?
Many nurses offer care navigation, education, and advocacy services to help individuals and families better understand treatment plans, appointments, medications, and available resources. However, they do not replace your physician or other licensed healthcare providers and should not be relied upon for emergency medical decisions.
How soon can I expect a response after submitting a request?
Response times vary by nurse and availability. While many professionals respond promptly, WholeWell RN cannot guarantee a specific response time. If your need is urgent or emergent, seek appropriate medical care immediately rather than waiting for a platform response.
